Postscript dated June 5, 2002: Oh, be quiet. You want complaining? I could give you complaining! So moving on past that, guess what? Ye Webmistress has actually added names and comments-- er, captions to the Necon 2001 Memories. So if you haven't look at 'em in awhile, take a few minutes and zip through last year's festivities, just for fun.

Yes, it's Christmas Night 2001 (actually, it's 12:30 a.m. the early early early morning after) and Ye Webmistress is coding up the Camp Necon site. It seems that her wonky scanner has, in the spirit of the season (yeah, whatever) decided to work after being mostly inoperative for quite some time. When she discovered this, Von crammed all the scanning she could into it, Christmas night or not, wanting to get it all done before the scanner realized what was happening. Since she dislikes going into a new year with unfinished jobs hanging over her head (not to mention the clamoring of little Neconites wanting to know where their pictures are), here's the yearly fix of pix. Bottom line: it's late, it's Christmas, and this is a quick and dirty job. No frills means no captions, no names-- Von will fill them in later, time permitting. (Also she ate too much and can't remember names, despite having been told 200 people's names 14 years in a row. So sue her.)
Also, no slide shows, and not even any kind of order. These are totally random-- again, we're going for speed. You'll find as many as fourteen full pictures on each page, so get yourself some holiday cookies and popcorn while you wait for it to load. By now almost everyone in the world has a computer faster than Von so you'll all probably see the scenes in no time at all.
