Here's the Programming info. As is becoming a Necon tradition, stuff is always subject to change. We (yes, that includes you, the dude or dudette reading this) are adults. We can deal with it.

  Dealers Room And Art Show Hours of Operation:

  Friday:          Noon - 6:00  p.m.
  Saturday:      9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.; 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  Sunday:        9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

THURSDAY

  (Art Show and Dealer’s Room will not be open.)

  3:00 p.m. - Registration Opens

  8:30 p.m. - Annual Saugie Fest. There will also be ghost stories at dusk 
  in the courtyard. Our Guests Of Honor set the tone.


FRIDAY

  8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. o Breakfast (in the cafeteria this time, no coffee
  and doughnuts)

  9:00 a.m. - Noon o Miniature Golf, the first Necon Olympic Event - The 
  caravan meets after breakfast.

  Noon - 1:00 p.m.-o Lunch

  1:00 p.m. - ZOMBIE JAMBOREE: Or why we love the Living Dead. Elizabeth 
  Massie (m), Gerard Houarner, Daniel Waters, Richard Dansky, Kim Paffenroth

  2:00 p.m. - ART FOR ART'S SAKE, HORROR FOR GOD'S SAKE! Making a living 
  (even a partial one) with art for the horror market. Cortney Skinner,

  3:00 p.m. - THE THING IN THE CLOSET: Gay writers and characters in horror.

  4:00 p.m. - KICKING HORROR TO THE CURB: Why genre horror deserves a quick and

  6:30 p.m. - Hall of Fame Induction and Necon Update

  8:30 p.m. - Meet the authors (Including the Annual Necon Hawaiian shirt contest. 
  Wear the best shirt and win valuable prizes!)

  Movies will be playing in the lounge throughout the evening.

  Midnight on the Courtyard: Darts! (A Necon Olympic Event)


SATURDAY

  8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Breakfast

  9:00 a.m. - WHY HORROR MOVIES SUCK (MOSTLY) Our panelists have wasted most 
  of their lives at the movies. Now they waste a little bit more time for you.

  10:00 a.m. - MYTHS CAN BE MURDER. Some of the most successful recent horror 
  and dark fantasy seems to develop a rich background mythology to support plot
  and character. What are the advantages of developing this sort of deep background?

  11:00 a.m. - THE ART OF THE BAD GUY. Great stories deserve great villains. Our

  12:00-1:00 Lunch

  1:00 p.m. - The Guests of Honor speak! Jose Nieto gives each of our guests a 
  half an hour to tell what moves them. Charlaine Harris, James A. Moore, Eric

  3:00 p.m. - HORROR OUTSIDE HORROR. Horror hides beyond the limits of genre, in 
  fiction, film and even real life. What lies beyond the fields we know? Peter 
  Crowther, Christopher Golden, Rick Hautula, Michael Marshall Smith, Bev Vincent (m)

  4:00 p.m. - Softball (Special guest umpire - Charlaine Harris) or Croquet (a 
  Necon Olympic Event). These will be held on the main campus.

  5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. o Dinner

  8:00 p.m. - NECON HELP!  I'M TRAPPED IN A TALENT SHOW!  And if you're not careful, 
  we'll lock the doors.  New rules!  New challenges!  And you can win Valuable 
  Prizes!  With Beth, Cort and Craig.  Followed by something else.

  There will be Movies throughout the evening in the lounge.


SUNDAY

  10:00 - SELLING YOUR SOUL: Book promotion in the modern world. From bookmarks 
  to book trailers, store signings to podcasts; what really gets you noticed?
